Professional training

Prior to starting her practice, Josephine Sarneel attended for six years the Academy of Holistic medicine at Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

During the education the following subjects have been studied:

• Classical Homeopathy: knowledge, skills and insights into philosophy, techniques, insights in common remedies, reactions to medications etc.
• General medical knowledge: the working of the human body, ability to detect acute and life threatening situations; regular medicines;
• Ethics: respect for the patient, building trust, treating patient files confidentially, integrity;
• Psychology;
• General knowledge about keeping a practice;

The education was concluded with a diploma and additionally, various certificates have been acquired for anatomy, pathology, psychopathology en physiology. Just as with a regular medical training, Josephine concluded her training by stating the Hippocratic Oath.
